One of my modules consisted of creating a wearable art piece for fashion around the trend ‘Futuristic’. In this project I heavily revolved it around a menswear perspective. Using construction work, one side was formed using a series of honeycomb pleats whilst the other had been cut into to form a pattern. This was my final piece.
One of my fashion modules, in which I chose to work around the trend ‘Futuristic’ for menswear. Although only partially finished, the garment which is supposed to replicate a sleeveless shirt made from vinyl, one side has been constructed using a honeycomb pleat along the entire side (…my fingers nearly fell off by the end of this!) and the other side had been formed using cut work.
